Courageous Discipleship and Becoming Community

Good Shepherd has shown our Courageous Discipleship  by generously sharing what we have been given so we can join our Savior in caring for others. Our success with our annual giving campaign is a testament to our faith and the commitment to our mission. We are truly blessed. Thank you!

In other news you will notice new additions to our sanctuary. Through a collaboration of all three congregations (Good Shepherd Episcopal, Seventh Day Adventist and Manantial de Vida), we have joined together to provide high quality live streaming and sound to enhance our worship. Up to now the SDA and Manantial have had to move and set up their respective equipment for each of their services every week. Good Shepherd purchased its own equipment for streaming (thanks to a grant from the Diocese and goals that we developed from the Tending Our Soil Initiative) but we did not have the expertise or the funds to install it. However, the Holy Spirit inspired us to reach out to our fellow sisters and brothers (also our neighbors!) who also worship Jesus in our space to consolidate our equipment and benefit from their expertise in technology as well as their craftsmanship! We now have a beautiful booth from which to do live streaming and where we can securely store and share one set of state of the art equipment! God has blessed us and we are so thankful for this opportunity to work together and reap the benefits of God's love for us!
